Welcome to Taskly Kids ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "App"). Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App.

We collect information in the following ways:
Taskly Kids offers optional premium features via an in-app subscription. All payment processing is handled by Apple (via the App Store) and RevenueCat (our subscription management provider). We do not collect, store, or process credit card or payment details directly. RevenueCat may collect anonymous subscriber identifiers and purchase receipts to verify subscription status. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Taskly Kids is designed for use by parents and guardians to manage tasks and rewards for their children. Children do not register their own accounts. A parent or guardian creates and controls all child profiles, which contain only a first name or nickname.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
If your child uses the App through a child profile set up by you, you acknowledge that you are providing consent on behalf of your child in accordance with applicable laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the UK Children's Code where applicable.
Your account and app data are stored securely using Supabase, a hosted backend-as-a-service platform. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant. See Supabase's Privacy Policy for more information.
While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

We retain your account and app data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

Your data may be stored and processed in data centres outside your country of residence (including the United States and the European Union) by our third-party providers. Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the provider's own compliance frameworks (e.g., Supabase's EU data region options).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
